Why travel

"Why travel?" is the question I didn't understand the first time I heard. To me the answer is pretty obvious, so I started wondering why someone wouldn't see traveling as inspiring and fulfilling as it seems to me.
1. Expand your mind.
Going places you've never been before makes you learn about other cultures, giving you a wider look at the world.
2. Feel free, there is no monotony.
Life is often made up of habits and routines; sometimes we forget that there's more in life than doing the same thing everyday and become bored without even noticing.
Although that monotonous activities are very much required, I certainly believe that everyone needs the unpredictability of a trip from time to time.
3. Loose fears.
From asking a direction in another language to skydiving, traveling transforms you into another person. It makes you feel more confident and try new things.
4. Make your brain stronger.
Speaking new languages and looking for directions is a great exercise for your brain.
5. Satisfy your soul.
Sometimes you may find yourself looking peacefully at a sunset, landscape, monument, etc. Traveling makes you live the moment peacefully as if you were disconnected from the rest of the world and time stopped.
